Food

I flip through the magazines about it. I definitely cannot be engaged in its making but I certainly look for people who can fetch me some of it. Sadly, the realization has come to me today but it happened to me years back, when someone said to me, "you eat as if the food is going to perish from the entire world tomorrow". Its ecstasy. It is solace when that cheezy bite makes me forget my break up pangs! I am glad that I can realize how my tongue is so very diplomatic. It accepts and enjoys every dish! Home made to the local street food and the High end hotel dishes. From Indian, to continental to Mughlai to Italian to Greek to anything one can name. Taking into account that I am one spendthrift personality of my house, my eyes still manage to look at price tags on items that I like, my mind tilts to logic at times if any article does not look "worth it". But with Food, there are no boundaries! No logic and tilt works. My eyes instead fall on the description of the dish and my mind wonders how would that dish taste in my mouth! As i gulp it down with its enchanting smells and flavours, the waitor looks at me and knows that he is going to get a tip from me sure as I am about to order at his hotel. whats that magical something in it that makes my mind go boggle and blog?? I am still wondering.. and eating.. :)

Yearning..

As the new day breaks in, she lays on the bed and opens her eyes slowly. She makes an effort to go philosophical. The spiritual book she read last night lingers on her mind and she decides to take the plunge once more. She gets up, looks into the mirror, tries to give a stressed curve to her cheeks and pretends to smile. She assumes all the benefits of doubts she has to give to all those who have been unjust and unfair too her. "For my god will forgive them, so how can I not understand? There must be a reason for them to act the way they do". The spiritual elation ends, and she moves out of her room, barefoot on the dusty floor to wash her face. Her mother downstairs is all set to bombard her with information, ideas, viewpoints and questions. As she withholds the silence in her heart and mind, the everyday routine question hits her. "How is everything between you and him honey?". A question that mother never forgets to ask. "All's well mum. What's for breakfast?". "So did he call? What all did you two talk about?". This was the sequel to her everyday chore. "He is busy. poor guy has to work really hard. He will call when he has to. it's alright!". She finishes her breakfast and flips the magazines for quick distraction. And the heart is filled with pain. As soon as mother's questioning stops, the inner calling returns. The desire of attention, and being so important for someone that you stand high on their priority list reverts the spiritual stance in her. She goes back to her room, looks at his photographs and sobs for half and hour. After the inner fight with her love and God, her mind stands still. Her heart stops feeling, she goes numb. This is her EVERYDAY. She does not plan to change this. She never likes to change anything in her life. People, most importantly, especially Him. She lets them stay as they are, unchanged. She only dreams that one day, she is his Queen. For her, he would one day de-prioritize the money matters and makes an entry to her dreamworld. The dreamworld of a simple peaceful life. A house with a garden, flowers, butterflies, dogs and their puppies. A small closet with few but favourite clothes. Some books which the couple reads together. A small clock that makes the two of them reach their workplaces in time to earn a fruitful and satisfying living. A small kitchen where he watches her cook small meals. A room where they make love and fall in love each night. A home full of smiles!!! And the clock strikes eight. It's time to go to work. That one segment of her life which gives her meaningful distraction is her workplace. She gets ready and leaves for work. In her huge office room, she looks around and waits for something. What is it? It's Him! The pain returns and she runs to the rest room. She sobs again. The spiritual quietness returns. Numb, she comes out to take her seat to work on the report her assistant sent. The phone bell rings. She is alarmed and hopeful. It's her mother's call. Her mother is the only one who checks on her well being everyday at office. As she looks at the phone, she hopes that one day, it would be him who would call her and check on her well being and make her smile. And she smiles and says "Hello mum". Evening comes and goes as everyone returns home with their set of office stories. The dreadful night returns when she expects him the most and he does not return. He is not a regular guy. He has priorities. He likes to work and make money. That is more meaningful than any chit chat. He hardly smiles. But he is indeed affectionate. He is not very good on phone. But he cares when she is with him. They meet once in six months. She reminds herself of the sweet memories and makes herself smile. She hopes that the next morning is the day of their meeting and closes her eyes. She prays to her God that the next day should not be an EVERYDAY.

HOW DO WE SEE COLOURS

lets get a little scientific..
while searching about colours-- a very random topic, my mind wandered on those who do not have the priviledge to see them. But when god closes one door.. he opens another. The ones who cannot see the beautiful world can feel the colours. they adapt the colours through their skin althouhgh it takes time.

the brighter colours fall on their skin harshly

QUOTES THAT LINGER ALL THE WAY...

dear readers..
these are the words that emerged out of me in fickles of time... i live by them now...

1. Our love is in the waters.
A permanence which only gets bigger as the splash joins the ocean,
Take a sip of it and splash some on me
For we shall soon shine with glee
The final plunge will make us one.
We might perish.
But the world shall cherish
For no one would call us
By different names
They might just do with one..

2. I have turned into an amnesiac since I met you.
My past has left me for good...
And paved the way for the new memories to settle in.
They all belong to you.. and me..:)
They are all yours..
And perhaps mine too.
P.S.I LOVE YOU

3. Rule over me like a monarch.
At least I have someone who would call me his very own..
For you the only one who shall hold the wild antiquity..
And build me again to beauty
And when you say P.S I LOVE YOU
You give birth to a new CHARU

4. There is only one hope
Only one last wish you could grant me
When I live by your name
Just don't abandon me for another game.

5.When I feel deprived of love
I wish god makes me rise like a dove
So that I could fly
Fly away to a zone of a lonesome night
Where no one can reach
Not even a kite
I wish to perish to a world
Where relationship is an alien world..

ONE HUNDRED YEARS OF SOLITUDE

THE UNIVERSAL TRUTH...

For a book worm whose favourite author is Gabriel Garcia Marquez, the essence of his works which are titled to be largely a huge cloud pregnant with Magic Realism is a truth that should be universally acknowledged. That is to say, that the magical elements which appear surreal is actually the reality of our present day world. One hundered years of solitude may not be a story odd 100 yrs but definitely has a complex network of around 100 characters... each to his own yet entangled. The thread that entangles them is the family blood, which fights for a common cause. The plot is extensive and clearly woven with deliberate commotions, repetitions and irony. The senior most character represents the root of culture and beliefs that the family is trying to hold by tying him to an old chestnut tree, when he looses his sanity. the second generation man seems to have a sixth sense when everything he says comes true, finally dying of insanity yet carving out a fine gold fish on a coin and leaving 17 sons having the same name only to get lost or abandoned later in the novel. The third generation hero becomes a tyrant finally dying of a gunshot. Lastly a small character Gabrial Garcia Marquez, a newspaper seller who is a witness to the generations and the only one to have survived after the town is completely wiped out.

marquez refines the metaphor of history as a circular phenomenon, through the repetition of names and characteristics belonging to the Buendía family. Over six generations all the José Arcadios possess inquisitive and rational dispositions as well as enormous physical strength; the Aurelianos, meanwhile, tend towards insularity and quietude. This repetition of traits reproduces the history of the individual characters and ultimately a history of the town as a succession of the same mistakes ad infinitum due to some endogenous hubris in our nature.
The novel explores the issue of timelessness or eternity even within the framework of mortal existence. A major trope with which it accomplishes this task is the alchemist’s laboratory in the Buendía family home, which was first designed by Melquíades near the start of the story and remains essentially unchanged throughout its course as a place where the male Buendía characters can indulge their will to solitude, whether through attempts to deconstruct the world with reason as in the case of José Arcadio Buendía, or by the endless creation and destruction of golden fish like his son Colonel Aureliano Buendía, among a number of other means. A sense of inevitability prevails throughout the text, a feeling that regardless of what way one looks at time, its encompassing nature is the one truthful admission.

marques’s masterpiece is a peice of advice that is given to every human being to read.

SCARY MOVIE

Well.. this is not with reference to any movie summary.. but yes a very funny yet scary move called LIFE!! Life indeed is a movie.. every move of which is scary!!

I wish I could be like him!!
he who always sounds happy
he who is always chirpy
always enthusiastic
always optimistic
he has so many tears hidden behind those eyes..
but he manages to hide them all
behind that bend n those dimples
he begins again with full hope n ends with it
I dt know about others but i call him Meet

I am thoroughly surprised how he manages to do this?

for I get scared before taking evry step forward in life, for it has ruined me beyond expectations and all boundaries..
I glue myself up after every blow and before it gets tightened, another one comes for me to get scattered on the ground..

life appears like a movie. like a bollywood queen... I live heartily but before the hero, the villian comes in disguise to ruin her

ha ha

but still.. m waiting for my hero..
who loves it when I feel shy..
who loves it wen I wear bangles n a bindi
who loves it wen I cant sing in front of him
who loves it wen I cant look at him
who loves it wen I put my hand in my hair
who likes it wen I look out of the window
who likes it wen I smile or laugh without a reason

Indian Mindset... is my dear readers.. not selfish... the queen honours the hero in the similar fashion for sure..when he speaks to the world I would love to look at him with pride..

I wish I could be on the seventh cloud...

I have been thinking today
I wish for a life happy and gay
I wish I get it with you
I wish my wish come true

Is it so difficult to reach there?
let me try..

Dear God
my love to you and heartiest regards to you!

I know I am still your dearest and bestest child on this planet. you had promised me that you will never give any pain. yet i have recieved plenty of it. but now that you made a mistake. you shall make up for it.
come on you cant ignore me... i am your own child
in return, and compensation.. i demand extreme love..
ok
now you better focus on me
you have ignored me from quiet a long time now
come back to the track man!!

ok last chance

take care

yours affectionately
charu.

so, readers.. didn't the above mentioned sound scary?
or u people are scared with the transformation of emotions from a tragedy queen to a dreanm girl to a child..that i suffer from?

decide the climax ..
and let me know!!

I won't forgive

Disaster is one part of life. forgivness is another..the ones who cause it can never be forgiven.. if they are forgiven then they are not forgotten. they are the heroes who have succeeded over your life..they have the superiority to rule over you..they judge your mood and your day..the kind of life you live today.. which is a dependant on someone.. not out of your choice because you have been abandoned by those super heroes is wat ur life is..

hence.. i wont forgive them... they who love you.. but couldn't satnd by you because of conventions... they who claimed to love you but actually wanted your flesh... ur resources.. ur identity... not your soul.. they who claim to be the closest.. mistrust you.. leave you alone...refuse to understand you...

if i wouldn't have been abandoned by choice by my own set of poeple i would not be having the fear of making new relationships, i wouldn't have to look out for outside resources to feel important... i will never forgive them who have made me what i am today.. an indecent dead soul.. n if she passes away.. this world would be least bothered..

finally.. if i happen to forgive any one of the above.. i will never forgive God to have given me what i have got.. i know no one in this world deserves this kind of life.. i would hate him to have given me this life.. n given me a heart which forgives..

my words-----on diwali

So many gods, so many creeds,
So many paths that wind and wind,
While just the art of being kind
Is all that this world needs.
But what is this art of kindness.. and where is the opportunity? I would say.. its on its way!!
A very good morning to all present here. today, I stand before you, not to preach but only to suggest that we all get an opportunity once in life to show that we care. Man is a social being and must live for the benefit of each others interests and well being. If our deeds are meant to harm anyone , then its not pious to perform them.
Dear friends, let us promise ourselves this diwali , that we all shall take care. . of each other. We all shall live for each others happiness. Let the sound of loud music and harmful crackers not take over the sound of worship, brightness of the colourful diyas and lights, love, compassion and cheers for mankind and our unity. Let this diwali be the true triumph of truth and happiness over evil-- thoughts of hatred, destruction and broken ties. Remember.. the crackers you burst not only cause pollution but behind their noise is the labour of small children who also like to study but have to work to feed their large families. Relieve them this year by not buying those crackers. Instead perform acts of kindness. Donate your pocket money to the people in need, buy gifts for your grandparents, and give away your old books to small children.
Bursting crackers and dancing on the tunes of Metallica will only provide you momentary happiness but your simple acts of kindness shall give you peace of a lifetime.

Today is that Day!!

My idea of perfect love?

With some one who is happy in your happiness... who is worried when you are sad.. when u r in trouble.. he makes effort to curb the problems.. on whose lap u forget all ur worries..n happiness.. when you are quiet....clueless.. alive yet lifeless.. like a leaf who is to be taken care by him..

but I guess.. I have done a blunder.. a big mistake.. that my god has not granted him to me..but I would just say.. god every one makes mistake.. but u have forgiven them.. and granted their wishes. m I not your child? today is that day.. grant me that wish.. one wish that I ask for.. my belief in you, ur beautiful creation that is me should stay alive.. don't you want this? I am waiting for your miraculous ending.. when my idealism holds true to the world. don't make me wait so much. that when it actually arrives.. I loose the sanity to realise, accept or be happy to recieve it. I dont think I would be able to stay that long.

The one.. who is polite, happy, loving, caring and does not take anyone for granted.
if i am kind, he should appreciate it and not use it.

Dear God,

hope uou are doing fine!! I would like to make that wish , light the candle, look into your eyes ans ask you... will you grant him to me.. he who loves me. he who respects me, he who would like to hold my hand forever and ever...and love me.. like no one ever loves anyone. I am sure you have not made me that bad. i am sure i am your loving child. I am sure you would not like anyone to hurt me. then why the delay? then why the betrayal? then why the half hearted incomplete relationships?
atleast once, don't give me hints that it wont happen.. give me an affirmation.

I hope you take my plea into your kind consideration..

yours affectionately
charu!

MY GOD!!

everyone in this world has a god.. believe me.. no one is an athiest... one's beliefs, principles in life are formulated as one's god...
that's a different thing that some people give it a virtual form and some adhere to a concrete one.any object from a mirror painting to a jewel.. can become a belief and a form of god.

and what if you loose that form? does your life come to an end? yes, to a certain extent.. the formulated god is the symbol of concreteness and the fullness of one's dignity, integrity and purity of actions and thoughts. once you loose your form of god, you loose the above mentioned traits in your personality.. you suddenly feel incomplete, shallow, narrow, hollow.. whichever way you describe it... the idea is to convey the sense of loss within.
and magically.. your life actually becomes sinful and pragmatic to the extent that you cross your boundaries of self to become an insane human bieng who is deteriorating at every level without his/ her knowledge..his actions are not in proportion to his thoughts. self respect, dignity, priority of life changes and gets mingled with the mud of the selfish world.. the big bad world.. you are used, killed at aevery level. you just do not realise it. thanks to the dreams that start to haunt you and finally make you realise of your fall. they show you how you are falling down the stairs again and again into the miseries. you become everything you hated to be. then comes the grand realisation of the loss of the god!! one can call it superstition but it holds true! those who loose a concrete form of thier god called superstitious...(like me..) and those who don't have a concrete representation of thier god with themselves, claim that they have lost thier consciousness... thier principalities.. whichever.. whatever... one has lost thier god anyway...

they say.. whatever goes.. comes back.. its a vicious circle and is supposed to get completed.. sooner or later...

so will the lost god ever return.. will the dignity ever come back? will i ever live again? will the lights show up again?

what can one say.. wait for the miraculous ending...

SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE

One feels really proud to watch a film like slumdog millionaire as an indian.. The view point is two edged however. One feels proud to see Jamal to live up to a life of miseries and hardships and finally live his dreams n his love life. On the other hand its sad to see the grim picture of Mumbai slums. But I recently read an article in a daily newspaper that many actors who were a part of this grim picture were paid too less.. rs. 50 to be precise. Are we( read the makers) not contradictory then? The slum areas are created then, not by anyone but by these rich filmakers. I am very sure that paying a little more to these actors would not have made a difference to the filmakers. They regret to see the ugly slums so that poeple wake up to react. but what have they done at thier end? Who are rich dudes even before they made a oscar winning film. None of us actually are bothered to improve upon the situation of these people who are living in such gross and unhygenic conditions. Rather the profit makers hire them for small "roles" to play in thier big projects and don't even pay them the required matched up amount.

Then we the rich dudes are actually called the slumdogs as we are poor from within.
What is required is that we all should gather up to do our little bit for people like these. Contributing money for them is just a simple way. Giving them education is another.

AFTERMATH

Aftermath... comes in many kinds of packages...destruction, annihilation, a complete change...but what it makes most of a human is DISHONEST. she is dishonest to evryone...even to herself... she pretends that no one has the tendency to hurt her anymore as she must have seen the worst..already...she pretends that if everyone leaves her she would still have the tendency to live all by herself..
wat a materialistic and vain life it is..and this materialistic object is what she starts to live by..doing the make-up over her face, wearing great clothes and heals..
she fears to go a shrine.. a temple..for that's a place where she can't hide herself... she is plain.. naked.. in front of the almighty...
she is exposed to herself..

but looking at the positive side.. atleast she can live and stand till the very edge...
she is forever strong..does not give the right to any one to hurt her anymore.. she is dishonest but safe from the cruel world...
is it not alright to stay like this rather than exposing your vulnerability to the world.. a world that does not care...

as far as the crack is concerned... that will happen anyways... then y not stay strong rude , yet happy though artificially for some time...

then some will go on..

she is been bad,
she has been rude,
she has been cribbing, with a lot of attitude,
love her not, my dear heart,
for love has already torn her apart...
and your love will only become another dart..

I need to find..........

I need to find a dictionary.. which has words.. more words n more words.... which can describe the feelings one ungergoes in today's world...the world is no more simple.. it does not revolve on the same platforms as it used to .. the ethics, aesthetics , values, outlook, principles people as an entity have changed...there is host of emotions and ideas which are trying to break free from our fenced framed brain.. the path they require is expression... through words. which we all are unable to find...

There are so many ideas I need to express right now.. but I cannot... as I don't have appropriate words left with me...
Do these words actually don't exist? or they exist.. n we don't have the access to them...

Big question!!

what is love???

What is love? I don't know.. I thought I knew all about it.. but falling in and out of it has made me boggle on the word again... many poeple define it in thier own terms. for nation lovers it's all about the service you can provide to ur countrymen. For youngsters, love is a crazy feeling for thier favourite filmstars..for a wife her love is her husband.. I doubt if the children come under that category or not! money takes over the feeling of love for those entreprenuers. the list is endless...

Is love blind? yes, to some extent. it is blind.. but you go blind when you are in love or when u r out of it? I guess it's both but the intensity is more on the latter part of it. All is happy rosy and beautiful while u r in love. you don't see the negative side of anything. Gosh you so negatively positive...

once you are out of love.. the body and mind goes round.. you keep thinking of the person.. which is rationally not required now. you dt think of anyone but them. you are so immersed in your own sadness and grief that you forget to look after your friends, family , you forget that you belong to tother poeple also. And if by god's grace you realize this, GUILT is the where zone you end up.then what? start hating yourself? or trying to fill up the gaps. generally, that gap is now filled up ... by someone else. when you were not there. so you loose it there also. moreover, the rest of the world seems dingy, dark ,gloomy hell like place. Earlier you were living for two people atleast. the one you loved, and yourself. now you are not.. not for them, yourself or for anyone who needed you but does not require you anymore. You dont seem to recognize the beauty of the world. WHAT THE HECK..is what you start living on........

love .. then is......... JUST A CHEMICAL REACTION IN YOUR BRAIN...

kindly keep it out of reach........

IDEAS CLICK!!!

I am a teacher.. i teach the students how to write well.. it's always easy to write about the things that we see around us.. the enviornment, the scenes, the sounds we hear, everythg around us stimulates our thoughts and we pen them down whenever we find a pen and a paper. But wat if someones is toatlly blank? Someone, who does not like to go out and see the world around? Someone who is so self centered that the world does not exist beyond his own self? If such a person is asked to write, what wud he write about? Firstly.. would he agree on expressing his views.. fortunately, if he does.. what are the thoughts that might churn into his mind? Will he be troubled? or just stay blank?

Why this struck me? Writing about poeple who do not like to express? Well it came to my mind when I took a creative writing test in my class... some of them wrote very well... some were average.. and some gave me a blank sheet.Did they not like the topic? Or they did not know how to appoach the theme? Or they were simply DISINTERESTED? Yes!! some of them actually were...... disinterested.

These are only small school kids.. why would they be bothered about various things that happen in our world? till they get seventeen, India expects nothing out of them.

But what after that? Will these adults then be in a pisition to react? Someone faints, someone meets with an acident, someone gets killed... will they ever stop thier carS n get out to help the poeple in need? Or they will just pass by... thinking the same old thing...that if one sets out to help the needy he himself might get caught in the web...

Peope the get used to not reacting ... not now... never ever..

whose fault is it? the poeple? or the authority, the education system of our country? its a vicious circle....
is it?
i think not...
who made the system? WE, THE POEPLE OF INDIA.
who can, then, change the system? WE, THE POEPLE OF INDIA.
we should all learn to react... the beginners might be called the Jimmy Porters and Albert Pintos but we need to show the world...that Osborne is not dead!!
If we dont react and take action ... we will actually make our lives a vicious circle... and we will never come out of it.
NOT NOW.. NEVER EVER

poeple come into ur life for a reason...

People come into your life for a reason, a season or a lifetime. When
you know which one it is, you will know what to do for that person. When
someone is in your life for a REASON, it is usually to meet a need you
have expressed. They have come to assist you through a difficulty, to
provide you with guidance and support, to aid you physically,
emotionally or spiritually. They may seem like a godsend and they are. They are
there for the reason you need them to be. Then, without any wrongdoing
on your part or at an inconvenient time, this person will say or do
something to bring the relationship to an end. Sometimes they die.
Sometimes they walk away. Sometimes they act up and force you to take a stand.
What we must realize is that our need has been met, our desire
fulfilled, their work is done. The prayer you sent up has been answered and
now it is time to move on.
Some people come into your life for a SEASON, because your turn has
come to share, grow or learn. They bring you an experience of peace or
make you laugh. They may teach you something you have never done. They
usually give you an unbelievable amount of joy. Believe it, it is real .
But only for a season.
LIFETIME relationships teach you lifetime lessons, things you must
build upon in order to have a solid emotional foundation. Your job is to
accept the lesson, love the person and put what you have learned to use
in all other relationships and areas of your life. It is said that love
is blind but friendship is clairvoyant

this article is dedicated to all my special poeple in my life... u all r special.. whether u stay for a reason, a season or a lifetime....

MALE FEMINISM.

We all have heard of FEMINISM. We all know what it is all about. Well.. just for the sake of introduction... Feminism alludes to that theory which speaks for the rights of a female. The feminist theory developed majorly in ENGLAND in the 20th century. Its precursor in England was the ever famous fiction writer VIRGINIA WOLF. Feminism voices the emotions and aspirations of the subverted female in the society. It reverts the authority of patriarchy and establishes new rules for itself and for the betterment of the suppressed woman. Before the 20th century, it was MARY WOLLSTONECRAFT in the 18th century England who voiced and defended the subverted sex. However, Feminism has come a long way. Now it has been established as a permanent discourse of studies to assess the development of a society. Many theories have sprung from it, like Lesbianism, Homosexuality and Gay Literature, Queer Theory etc. But one of its fields fascinate me the most. That is, MALE FEMINISM. Its not as complicated an issue as it seems by its name but its quite amusing though, as men have always tried to suppress the females in the society. Yet, a concept like Male Feminism exists. This article revisits the issue of male experience and its possible relationship to gender politics. Traditionally, feminism has viewed male experience as representing a bar to the development of feminist knowledge and consciousness. This conceptualization of male experience continues to inform the contemporary debate on male feminism. I would like to argue that this experiential bar emerges from a theorization of male experience as singular, fixed, and organic. Challenging this conceptualization, the article retheorizes male experience as a diverse, shifting, and contested category that produces different political outcomes. Through an analysis of men’s group discourse,I would like to illustrate how particular interpretations of male experience produce both feminist and antifeminist effects. Further, Feminism examines male experience as a multifaceted category that can act as the material upon which male feminist resistance operates. Feminist studies debunk the idea of a female figure created by a male centered viewpoint.Hence, it creates and forster a cultural feminist world of its own.

Coming back to Male Feminism, this movement consists of pro feminist modern men who feel synpathetic towards Feminism. Pro Feminist men seek to add thier voices to feminism and advocate change by men in thier gender relations, social political and institutional structures. Pro Feminists campaign against violence against women and sexism. There have been many famous works on Pro Feminism including Stoltenberg's "refusing to be a man". Pro Feminists believe in an egalitarian society and believe that women suffer from inequalities in the society while men recieve various forms of power and priviledge. Masculinity is oppressive to women and social changes are to be made in this direction.

Why i find this theory amusing is that although it supports feminists yet, it is as flawed as the feminist thoery itself. The biases that exist within the feminist world are on the basis of caste, race, color, creed etc while there is substancial diversity and disagreement in the pro feminist perspectives. While men are also harmed of the societal gender relations, some men emphasize the priviledge recieved by virtue of bieng men in a patriarchal or a male dominated society. Some go to the extent of accusing both men and women constricted of the gender rules.

However, it is terribly diificult to be a non biased thinker but the extent to which i have tried i can now say.. that some of the male feminists are right! We females are so much bound by those old assingned rules that half of the females have got used to it by now. They are not even aware of thier rights.. moreover, even if they are... they would not want to come out of thier husband's shadow..And what's more, hardly can one see, in today's world...one female supporting the other. There is an ongoing struggle within the feminist structure that we encounter even now when we women have established a room of our own. This would only lead an unbaised female like me to praise those men who support feminist ideals in their true spirit.. and this makes me an anti feminist too in a sense.
Male Feminists claim to be anti sexist, anti patriarchy, but not anti male. They see men with good potential and beleive that men must act to dismantle gender injustice.

I believe that truth comes out when all sides of the story are put together and the whole truth is what i am after! and according to me.. the truth is... that there is a genuine desire needed to build a society of men and women both, who first aim to amend the gaps and fissures that exist within feminist culture and secondly, encourage each other to live up by those ideals.

indian mindset

A few days back, at my usual time.. i was reading the newspaper. I came across this article which talked abt a few muslim students who refused to accept food cooked by a dalit woman. I just ask a simple question which came into my mind at that time also.. WHY? After all the dalit woman is also a human bieng. If she does not find a problem with the fact that she has to cook for muslim children then why are these takers creating a problem. They are not even bieng baised but also effecting the emotional setup and financial position of dalit female. A few more days that these students dont accept food from her, this lady will be chucked out of the school canteen. She will then have no means to earn her living, her poor family might get into ruins also. And in any case that female is not going to add poison in the food just because the takers are muslims? Is she? NO! Furthermore, the parents and teachers are to be blamed. These kids are just 8-9 yrs old. How come they have the knowledge of hindu, muslim ,dalit ,christian disparities. Or even the politics of india at this age. Even if they are behaving in this manner it is the responsibility of the teachers to discourage the students to bahave in this manner. We need to understand that india is heading towards globalisation very fast. Overall development is possible if all of ur are together. If such prejudices are encouraged at the grass root level, where will the next generation be? And if we leave this peice of news n think for a few minutes.. dt we always do this? biased viewpoints!! towards the lower casts.. the other sects... this is the indian mind set which is to be changed! THINK!
